You can now walk a villa live on Zoom or FaceTime

Most buyers in this market are three and a half hours away at best, and a lot of them are not flying up this season. Until now the honest options were a render, a reel, or a trip.

So we have added a third: a live video walkthrough.

How it works

Pick a platform — Zoom, FaceTime, WhatsApp video or Google Meet — and an hour that works in Australian eastern or western time. Someone walks the site or a finished villa with a phone and a stable connection for about thirty minutes.

You decide where the camera goes. Open a cupboard. Look at the underside of the slab. Ask to see the pool plant, the switchboard, the join between the deck and the wall. Ask us to hold a permit up to the lens and read the number out.

Bring your own people. Add your lawyer, your accountant, your partner or the friend who always finds the problem. It is a normal video call; anyone you invite can ask questions.

We record it and send you the file. So you can watch it again later, or forward it to whoever is checking the deal on your behalf.

What we will not do

Stage it. If the site is muddy that day, you will see mud, and if something is unfinished you will see that too. A walkthrough that only shows the good corners is a brochure with a webcam pointed at it, and it would undo the point of the whole site.

There is no obligation attached and no email sequence afterwards that you did not ask for.
